Before you buy
Checking a used Scorpeus
Fewer of these reach the secondhand market than the Perseus or Hyperion, because the people who choose one tend to keep it. Same construction caveats apply on the thermoformed generations: tap the perimeter. A Scorpeus with its face texture intact is worth holding out for, since touch and spin are the whole point of the paddle and both live on that surface.
A kitchen line player who wants JOOLA build quality without the power bias, and anyone who found the Perseus too hot to control.

Buying a used Scorpeus
- Is a used JOOLA Scorpeus worth buying?
- Yes, if you know its condition. A used Scorpeus costs less than new, and the checks above are what separate a good one from a tired one. We run them on every unit before it is listed, so the grade next to the price is the answer.
- How do you grade a used Scorpeus?
- The same way as everything else here: weighed, tapped, measured and checked on twelve points, then graded Mint, Like New or Excellent. Anything below the floor is declined rather than listed cheaply, so a low price means an older generation or more cosmetic wear, never a paddle that failed inspection.
- Can I trade in my Scorpeus?
- Yes. Send photos and a person comes back within 24 hours with an offer in RePaddle store credit. The quote is an estimate until the paddle is in hand and graded, and if the final offer differs we email it and issue nothing until you accept.
