Checking a used Hyperion
Turns up secondhand in volume, because each new generation pushed the previous one out of a lot of bags at once, which is good news on price and means paying attention to which generation you are looking at. The older runs were not thermoformed. They are simpler paddles and do not need the perimeter check; the thermoformed ones do. Face wear is the usual limiting factor rather than anything structural.
Someone who wants the JOOLA feel without committing to a pure power paddle, and the single most sensible way into the brand secondhand.

Buying a used Hyperion
- Is a used JOOLA Hyperion worth buying?
- Yes, if you know its condition. A used Hyperion costs less than new, and the checks above are what separate a good one from a tired one. We run them on every unit before it is listed, so the grade next to the price is the answer.
- How do you grade a used Hyperion?
- The same way as everything else here: weighed, tapped, measured and checked on twelve points, then graded Mint, Like New or Excellent. Anything below the floor is declined rather than listed cheaply, so a low price means an older generation or more cosmetic wear, never a paddle that failed inspection.
- Can I trade in my Hyperion?
