What $150 buys secondhand
This is the sweet spot for a player who knows what they want. At this ceiling you can be specific about shape, weight and face material rather than taking what is cheap, and you are choosing between paddles that were flagships eighteen months ago and mid tier paddles that are current today. Cosmetic wear is usually light, and the grade on the card tells you exactly how light before you commit. If you are replacing a paddle you already like with a better version of it, start here.

Buying at this price
- Are cheap used pickleball paddles any good?
- They can be. At this price the difference from a new paddle is usually the model year or cosmetic wear, not how it plays. Every one here passed the same inspection as the most expensive paddle in the shop, or it would not be listed.
- What condition are paddles under $150 in?
- The same as everything else here. Every unit is graded Mint, Like New or Excellent against a published twelve point inspection before it is listed, and anything below the floor never reaches the shop at any price. A lower price means an older model or more cosmetic wear, never a paddle that failed inspection.
- Do paddles under $150 come with a warranty?
- No. Every paddle here is sold pre-owned and as inspected, with no manufacturer or extended warranty. What you do get is three days from delivery to tell us it arrived misgraded or damaged, and we will fix it with a replacement, credit or refund.
