What we collect

Order details. Name, email, shipping and billing address, and what you bought. Payment card details are typed into Stripe's own fields and travel straight to Stripe. The card number never reaches our servers and is never stored on this site. What comes back to us is whether the charge succeeded and a Stripe payment reference we attach to your order.
Account details. If you sign in, Shopify handles it passwordless. We hold a session cookie and read your order history back from Shopify.
Trade in submissions. Your name, email, ZIP, the paddle details you enter, and the photos you upload. Photos are stored on Shopify's CDN and used to grade the paddle.
Usage data. Pages viewed and actions taken, but only after you accept analytics cookies. Decline and nothing is recorded against you. The one thing that still runs is a cookieless page view count (Vercel Web Analytics) that sets no identifier and cannot be tied back to you.

Essential. A cart identifier in your browser's local storage and a session cookie when signed in. These cannot be turned off without breaking the store.
Analytics. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, which replays anonymised recordings of pointer movement and scrolling. Clarity is not loaded at all until you accept analytics. Google Analytics does load straight away, but it loads in Google Consent Mode with every storage signal set to denied, so before you accept it measures nothing, sends no page views and sets no cookie. Accepting is what switches those signals to granted.
Marketing. The Meta pixel, which is not injected until you accept marketing cookies. It is switched off entirely at the moment, so no pixel loads for anyone however they answer the banner.
Measurement that needs no consent. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without an identifier, so it is not gated on the banner. Vercel also hosts the site and sees the requests any host sees.
We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal. If your browser sends it, analytics and marketing stay off regardless of the banner.

Shopify: catalog, orders, customer accounts, and the trade in photos you upload.
Stripe: payments. Stripe receives your card details directly and we do not.
Resend: the email we send you about orders, shipping, refunds and trade ins.
Vercel: hosting, and the cookieless page view count described above.
Google, Microsoft and Meta: analytics, session replay and advertising measurement, only with your consent.
We do not sell your personal information.

Ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email help@repaddle.com.
Deleting an account does not erase records we must keep for tax and fraud purposes, such as completed orders.
Marketing email always carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing never affects order email.
