Face texture goes early on the composite faces, which matters less here than on a raw carbon paddle because spin was never the selling point. The honest framing is that a well-graded SLK is a good cheap paddle, not a cheap Selkirk — and at the price a used one lands at, that is a perfectly reasonable thing to buy.

- The same way as everything else here: weighed, tapped, measured and checked on twelve points, then graded Mint, Like New or Excellent. Anything below the floor is declined rather than listed cheaply, so a low price means an older generation or more cosmetic wear, never a paddle that failed inspection.
