What to check on a used Selkirk
Selkirk edge guards take scuffs long before anything structural does, so a chewed guard on an otherwise sound paddle is cosmetic and gets priced that way. What matters is the face across the top third, where a thermoformed Luxx or Vanguard shows wear first. Older Amped units are honest paddles but they are several generations back on grit, and a resurfaced face is not a thing that exists.
We run that check on every unit before it is listed, and the result is the grade on the card. Lines we see most from Selkirk: Vanguard, Luxx, Era, LABS, Project 0.

- Every paddle is graded Mint, Like New or Excellent against a published twelve-point inspection before it is listed, and the grade it earns is the one on the listing next to the price. Anything below the floor never reaches the shop.
