Used Engage Pursuit

Engage's flagship and one of the few paddles where the marketing about dwell time corresponds to something you can actually feel. It holds the ball a fraction longer and rewards players who shape shots rather than swing at them.

These arrive when somebody trades one in, so the shelf empties and refills without a schedule. Leave an email and you will hear the day one lands.

Before you buy

Checking a used Pursuit

The soft face that makes the paddle is also the part that wears fastest, so grit is both the thing to examine and the thing that sets the price. A Pursuit with a lively face is worth paying up for; a smooth one is a genuinely different paddle from the one in the reviews. Handles and edge guards tend to outlast the face by a wide margin, so cosmetic condition can mislead here more than usual.

Touch players and anyone whose game is built at the kitchen line. A poor first paddle and a very good third one.

Questions

Buying a used Pursuit

Is a used Engage Pursuit worth buying?
Yes, if you know its condition. A used Pursuit costs less than new, and the checks above are what separate a good one from a tired one. We run them on every unit before it is listed, so the grade next to the price is the answer.
How do you grade a used Pursuit?
The same way as everything else here: weighed, tapped, measured and checked on twelve points, then graded Mint, Like New or Excellent. Anything below the floor is declined rather than listed cheaply, so a low price means an older generation or more cosmetic wear, never a paddle that failed inspection.
Can I trade in my Pursuit?
Yes. Send photos and a person comes back within 24 hours with an offer in RePaddle store credit. The quote is an estimate until the paddle is in hand and graded, and if the final offer differs we email it and issue nothing until you accept.
