Used CRBN 1X
The widebody shape in CRBN's line: the forgiving one, with the largest sweet spot and the most margin for error. Raw carbon face, which is what the brand built its reputation on.

These arrive when somebody trades one in, so the shelf empties and refills without a schedule. Leave an email and you will hear the day one lands.

Before you buy
Checking a used 1X
Face grit is the entire value question on a used CRBN and it is tactile rather than visual, so run a thumb across it and feel whether it catches. Photographs show scratches, which barely matter, and hide texture loss, which matters enormously. The thermoformed generations need the same perimeter tap as any foam injected paddle.
A player who wants raw carbon spin without an elongated shape’s narrower sweet spot, and the most forgiving way into the brand. Doubles players who live at the kitchen line get more out of the wide body than singles players chasing reach will.
Questions
Buying a used 1X
- Is a used CRBN 1X worth buying?
- Yes, if you know its condition. A used 1X costs less than new, and the checks above are what separate a good one from a tired one. We run them on every unit before it is listed, so the grade next to the price is the answer.
- How do you grade a used 1X?
- The same way as everything else here: weighed, tapped, measured and checked on twelve points, then graded Mint, Like New or Excellent. Anything below the floor is declined rather than listed cheaply, so a low price means an older generation or more cosmetic wear, never a paddle that failed inspection.
- Can I trade in my 1X?
- Yes. Send photos and a person comes back within 24 hours with an offer in RePaddle store credit. The quote is an estimate until the paddle is in hand and graded, and if the final offer differs we email it and issue nothing until you accept.
