What to check on a used CRBN

Raw carbon grips hard when new and wears smooth with use, and that wear is the single biggest determinant of what a used CRBN is worth, far more than cosmetics. Run a thumb across the face: if it does not catch, it is a control paddle now, whatever it was designed as. The thermoformed generations need the same perimeter tap test as any foam injected paddle.
