Before you buy
Checking a used Signature
These get played hard and traded often, which is good for price and means the grade carries more weight than usual. Face grit goes first and you will feel it. Check the handle to face join closely. It is the weak point on the older moulds, and any flex there at all is a decline rather than a discount.
A first real paddle, or a spare to leave in the car. It is the sensible landing spot for someone upgrading from a starter set who does not yet know whether they want power or control, and cheap enough secondhand that finding out costs very little.

Buying a used Signature
- Is a used Franklin Signature worth buying?
- Yes, if you know its condition. A used Signature costs less than new, and the checks above are what separate a good one from a tired one. We run them on every unit before it is listed, so the grade next to the price is the answer.
- How do you grade a used Signature?
- The same way as everything else here: weighed, tapped, measured and checked on twelve points, then graded Mint, Like New or Excellent. Anything below the floor is declined rather than listed cheaply, so a low price means an older generation or more cosmetic wear, never a paddle that failed inspection.
- Can I trade in my Signature?
- Yes. Send photos and a person comes back within 24 hours with an offer in RePaddle store credit. The quote is an estimate until the paddle is in hand and graded, and if the final offer differs we email it and issue nothing until you accept.
