Before you buy
Top edge first, as with any elongated shape, and check the edge guard for lifting at the corners. The faces hold grit reasonably well. Because the moulds have changed less than most brands, an older Model E plays much closer to a current one than the same age gap would imply elsewhere — which is the main argument for buying one used rather than new.
