Used Onix paddles
One of the sport's older names, and the Z5 is probably the most recognisable shape in pickleball. Onix built its following on widebody paddles with very generous sweet spots, forgiving to the point of being the standard recommendation for a nervous beginner. The Evoke line is the more modern, more serious end of it.

Every unit here is one physical paddle, so the shelf empties and refills as trade ins come across the bench. Tell us what you are after and you will hear the day one lands.

What to check on a used Onix
The Z5 face wears visibly but plays consistently well past the point where it looks tired, so do not overread the cosmetics on one. What does matter is the edge guard adhesive on older units, which lets go at the top corners and can be felt as a buzz on contact. Cores on these are durable, so a rattle is rare enough to be a red flag when you hear one.
We run that check on every unit before it is listed, and the result is the grade on the card. Lines we see most from Onix: Premier.

Questions
Buying a used one
- Is it worth buying a used Onix paddle?
- Yes, if you know its condition. A used Onix costs less than new, and the risk with any secondhand paddle is wear you cannot see in a photo. Every one here has been through the checks above, and the grade next to the price tells you how it came out.
- What condition are your used Onix paddles in?
- Every paddle is graded Mint, Like New or Excellent against a published twelve point inspection before it is listed, and the grade it earns is the one on the listing next to the price. Anything below the floor never reaches the shop.
- Can I trade in my Onix paddle?
- Yes. Tell us what you have and a person comes back within 24 hours with an offer in RePaddle store credit. We take Onix along with every other major brand, and we reserve the right to decline any paddle.
